Howdy Pards,
I thought I would drop a line to let everyone know, yesterday I spent the day with six other wagons and a slew of horseback riders on the first leg of the trail ride from Mart to Tradin' house lake pavillion. Man was it great!!!! Sometimes we just need to go out and enjoy what God has created for us... natural beauty. I believe we conjest our systems with to much city smog, WAY TOO MUCH!!!! To say the least it was a great day and last night many more joined the group, so today should be PEACHY KEEN!!!!! If you are able you should join the group, but if not at least come on out to the church land tonight and enjoy some good music and great eatin' as well!!! Well I gotta pack my saddle bags and get goin' myself, so ADIOS PARTNER!!!!!!
Happy Trails,

It's Thursday whew hew!!!!!!!!!!!
Howdy Friends,
Sorry I have not written in a while I guess you might say I have been a bit under the weather? HAHA Well, anyways lots of great things are happening on, around, and with the new church property!! If you happened to drive by it last night around 10:00pm you would have seen a red heat lamp swingin' from a tree... We needed lights for the Elder meeting, and we were prepared...well Rhea brought us lights to make us prepared!!! Today I will be putting on my chef's hat again as Rhea and I are preparing "Sloppy Joes" for dinner for the trail ride group!!! Oh, which reminds me if you have a chance to come out to the tradin' house lake pavillion tomorrow, Mack Abernathey band will be playin' around 7pm. at the second stop of the trail ride. I am so excited about all that is going on and have big announcements just around the corner... so keep checkin' my Blog. I suppose I should head to HEB for grub for the trail...

Terrific Tuesday!!!!!
Howdy Friends,
What a beautiful day God has blessed us with today!!! I just hope you are where you can hit the trail and enjoy it. At about 11:30 today my trail takes me into a meeting with the association, for a meeting about our future building ideas for Heart Of Texas Cowboy Church. I know you will be in prayer about the positive outcome of that meeting. After that I will be saddling up to run over to Itasca to deliver a Wedding license to the newly weds Rodney & Evonne. I will also be pickin' up Les Alley's trailer to bring back for various uses on the church land in the next few days. At some point in the day I need to find a hitchin' post near WalMart and try to locate some pajamas without holes before my surgery tomorrow!!(serious business)haha!! Hope your saddle is comfortable and your trail is clear and any obstacle that may fall in your path proves to be nothing more that a tool God uses to strengthen your journey on the trail that leads home!!!

Monday Morning ...Whoop and ride!!!
Howdy,
As this morning kicks off I will be traveling to the doctors office first thing to be fitted for a back brace in which I'll be wearing after the surgery! Whew Hew!! After that, I will be putting on my chef's hat and preparing baked potatoes and salad for tonight's B.Y.O.B. (bring your own beef) men's night at the church land at 6:45 pm. I hope your morning kicks off good and your week proves to be great!! I believe this will happen as God has great things in store for each and everyone of us, it is up to us to help God reveal exactly what his blessings are for us this week. With that thought in mind, I challenge you to start your everyday out with a simple prayer asking God to reveal his plan for your life this week, and to help you to make lemonade out of any lemons that may fall on your trail this week!!! As we saddle up and head out let each one of us remember with Christ in our saddlebags we are sure to have a great and prosperous trail ahead!!!

Praise Him in the storms
Hello everyone,
Ever feel like things just didnt quite go your way? Well, let me just say today was one of those days for me... I felt like my message flowed like river rocks in a drought!! If any of ya'll felt that way let me apologize, and say sometime we have those moments! Let me also say according to scripture when we are weak , it is then that God makes us strong!! And with that thought in mind I believe just as we praise Him in the good times, we also should praise Him in the storms... after all without the rain we would never have the rainbow, right?
On Wednesday I will be having surgery and I am asking that you would remember Rheanne and I in your prayers as I am a bit nervous about this one, however I know that God has a plan through all of this. Perhaps my thought for the week is: If God brings you to it, God will bring you through it!!! Lets have a good week and remember to check the website for upcoming events
